Kandi Windoe
29 years’ experience in the communications industry, she has both client & agency side experience ranging from strategic planning, business development, PR as well as general management of communication business. She started her career on brand side overseeing product innovation & marketing communications for Unilever’s Walls ice cream & Danone’s Biscuits Indonesia. She joined McCann Erickson as Strategic Planning & Consumer Insights Director in 1999 before moving to DDB Indonesia as Strategic Planning Director & General Manager in 2004. She was appointed as General Manager of Advertising & PR business in 2007 up to 2011. From 2015 up to 2022, as the head of the Interface unit in NAVA+ group (marketing communication agency), she managed building brand via various channels such as conventional media, digital channels, event, community activation, and PR. Since 2011 until today, she has collaborated with advertising agencies, advertisers, government institutions (i.e. Tourism and Creative Economy), universities as well as Creative Communities across cities & regencies.
Her accomplishments include Destination & City Branding to raise the creative economy and tourism in Majalengka, Kutai Kartanegara, Gianyar, Surakarta and Kampoeng Kajoetangan in Malang as well as the innovation of local culinary in 6 cities through recipe fusion and collaboration. These achievements are result of the accumulation of various experiences she gained from her work endeavors and interaction with various creative, branding and marketing communities. Her exposure of using digital technology makes it easier for her to convey complex and diversified messages but still fill them with her passion for storytelling and multiculturalism of Indonesia. Currently she is also active volunteering at PERHUMAS Indonesia as Brand Expert and Advisory Committee for the period of 2021 - 2024.
