Nenny Soemawinata
Born in India and spent more than 18 years living overseas. A computer programmer who never worked in a computer environment. Her first job was in hospitality with the Borobudur Inter-Continental Hotel. After 5 years she decided to embark on a new journey: advertising. Spent 15 years from Fortune Indonesia to Indo-Ad/Ogilvy. One of her greatest achievements was launching A-Mild and turning it into a big brand.
The natural next step was the broadcast industry. Spent 6 years in this industry from ANTEVE, RCTI to UTV in Malaysia. Returned to Indonesia from Malaysia in 2008 at the request of Pak Putera Sampoerna. Appointed as CEO of the Putera Sampoerna Foundation. Retired in 2018. She is now an independent consultant, motivator, business mentor, storyteller and an author.
